"Two of my most valued career achievements thus far, have been the recognition of my work engaging students in classroom situations. In 2007 I was awarded a pre service science teachers training award from the University of Tasmania and in 2011 I was awarded a NEITA ASG Inspirational Teaching Award by the members of my school community in Meekatharra. I was proud to receive these awards and utilize the award process as a method of reflection on my current practise and ways this could be further improved."
